- 3 large cucumber
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 pinch black salt or pink salt or sea salt, optional
- few ice cubes to chill
Hard Juice Method (Easy)
Wash and juice cucumbers along with the skin in a hard juicer. Trim the edges of the cucumbers. Chop as needed so they can easily fit in the juicer.
Add lemon juice, honey and black salt.
Mix well and serve with ice cubes.
Blender Method (more Fibrous)
To make cucumber juice in a blender, just wash the cucumbers, peel them, and chop them roughly into pieces.
Toss the chopped cucumbers and blend until smooth. You can add a little bit of water to get the veggies moving in the blender.
Strain the juice by simply passing it through a fine mesh sieve. (optional step.)
Add lemon juice, honey and black salt.
Mix well and serve with ice cubes.
- Cucumber: When buying fresh cucumbers, look for the ones with dark green, firm, and thin skin. Avoid cucumbers with soft spots or blemishes.
- Lemon: You can substitute it with lime juice.
- Honey: Honey works as a natural sweetener and is full antioxidants. You can use any other type of sweetener you like.
- You can also add beetroot, carrot, and apple to this juice. Both are sweet and can help reduce the amount of honey or skip it altogether.
